The UCB Community Health Fund, launched in 2020, was founded to address health disparities among vulnerable populations, taking into consideration their physical and mental health, and social well-being.

In 2026, the UCB Community Health Fund begins a new chapter - one that stays true to our purpose while bringing us closer to the communities where UCB is present.

After taking time in 2025 to listen, reflect and rethink how we can make the biggest difference, I am happy to share that we are moving forward with a refreshed approach. This next phase means partnering with fewer organizations than before, but building deeper, longer-term relationships with each of them. By providing more meaningful support, over more time, we hope to help create change that truly lasts.

What has not changed is our commitment. With the Fund we remain dedicated to tackling health disparities among vulnerable groups, with a strong focus on mental health. The organizations we support are rooted in their local communities and walk alongside people who face daily challenges - from homelessness and isolation to barriers in accessing care.

For the 2026–2028 cycle, we will walk alongside twelve organizations across countries where UCB has a strong presence. Each partner will receive €100,000 per year for three years - €300,000 in total - giving them stability and space to plan, grow, and focus on what matters most: the people they serve.

Our partners include:

  • Belgium: Infirmiers de rue – Straatverplegers (Brussels), TEJO (Flanders), Racynes (Wallonia)
  • United Kingdom: Pathway, Centrepoint Soho
  • United States: COR (Atlanta), Boston’s Higher Ground
  • Italy: Progetto Arca
  • Spain: Fundación Luz Casanova
  • France: Im’Pactes
  • Germany: Discovering Hands
  • Switzerland: Fondation HorizonSud

By focusing our support where it can make the greatest difference, I hope we help these organizations create fairer health outcomes and brighter futures for the people they serve.

But funding is only part of the story. In this new phase, we are also looking for ways to build more local connections and, when it makes sense, explore volunteering opportunities together.

In the months ahead, I will help share stories from our partners and from the people whose lives they touch - stories that remind us why this work matters, and why we are committed to walking this path together. Stay tuned.
