At UCB, we are focused on one thing: delivering value for people living with severe diseases. As more of our innovative medicines reach patients, we are preparing for what comes next — ensuring we can meet growing demand with the reliability and care patients deserve.

That is why we are planning a significant expansion of our manufacturing capacity in the United States. This new facility will support our next wave of growth and our expanding pipeline, helping us continue to provide timely, dependable access to our medicines through a more resilient and sustainable supply chain.

The new site will complement our existing global network and partnerships - including the scaling up of our U.S.-based contract manufacturing organization (CMO) network - reinforcing our ability to deliver at scale, with quality and consistency. It also reflects our deep commitment to the U.S. - a key part of our future and a region where we are seeing strong momentum.

The facility is expected to create around 300 permanent, highly skilled direct jobs in biologics manufacturing and approximately 500 jobs during construction.

UCB’s presence in the U.S. continues to deepen, with around 2,000 employees and eight R&D and commercial offices already established. Over the past five years, we have invested $4.5 billion in acquisitions and capital expenditures and received 15 FDA approvals or indication expansions - including eight in just the last two years - that speak to the strength of our innovation and our responsibility to ensure sustainable delivery.

As with everything we do, this expansion will reflect our values. We are planning with environmental sustainability at the forefront - and designing for efficiency at the core, powered by advanced digital technologies. Because how we grow matters just as much as where.

We are excited about this next chapter and the opportunity it brings to better serve the people who count on us - today and tomorrow.
