Supporting young talent to shape the future of healthcare through innovative digital solutions
Between 15 and 26th of February, we had the opportunity to partner with the Boston Consulting Group (BCG) and engage with 600 amazing Belgian students who took part in this year’s Strategy Cup.
Along with BCG, we challenged students to participate in a series of online competition activities where they were tasked with solving real-life challenges faced by osteoporosis patients and come up with big and bold digital solutions. The participants focused on how digital solutions can improve overall outcomes, minimising the consequences of fragility fractures to patients, caregivers and society.
The UCB judges were incredibly impressed with the standard of work across the board - we received outstanding proposals which align to our ongoing commitment to improve the patient journey using digital solutions, and which give us hope and inspiration for future innovations. The ideas generated have shown an extremely creative approach to problem solving. This highlights that the best innovation happens when you generate many ideas by leveraging different perspectives and individual strengths.
Thank you to our competition partners, BCG, and thank you to all of the students who took park in this year’s competition.
