UCB's shareholder meeting today

Today, UCB held its Annual General Meeting (AGM) and Extraordinary General Meeting (EGM). At the AGM, 152 429 300 million shares (81.06 % of shares entitled to vote) were represented. During the course of this meeting, Jean-Christophe Tellier, Chief Executive Officer UCB, gave the shareholders of UCB an overview of UCB’s patient value and growth strategy priorities, the financial year 2015 and the first three months of 2016. He also confirmed the financial outlook for 2016.

The AGM approved for the fiscal year 2015 the payment of a gross dividend of € 1.10 per share (net dividend of € 0.803 per share) compared to € 1.06 per share for 2014 (net € 0.795). The ex-dividend day is 29 April 2016, the dividend (coupon no. 19) will be payable on 3 May 2016.

The AGM re-appointed Harriet Edelman as independent director and Charles-Antoine Janssen as director, and appointed Ulf Wiinberg and Pierre Gurdjian as independent directors. The financial results for the first half year 2016 will be published on 28 July 2016 and an interim report for the first nine months of 2016 is due on 25 October 2016.
