UCB : New Director-General of the Pharma Sector

The Board of Directors of UCB S.A. announced today the appointment of Roch Doliveux as Director-General of the Pharma Sector and Deputy Chairman of the Executive Committee of UCB S.A., based in Brussels.

Roch Doliveux is French, 46 years old, Doctor in Veterinarian Medicine from Maisons-Alfort (France), Laureate of the Faculty of Medicine of Créteil and holds an MBA from INSEAD.

He joined very early the pharmaceutical industry, first at Ciba-Geigy in Switzerland, in Peru and in France, and then at Schering-Plough in Belgium, in France and in the United States where he occupied the functions of Vice-President of Schering-Plough Corporation and President of Schering-Plough International. Lastly, Roch Doliveux joined the Pierre Fabre Group as Chief Executive Officer of Pierre Fabre Pharmaceuticals, which he has decided to leave.
