‘How did you sleep?’ We all know that when the answer to that question is ‘Not very well’, it can mean a difficult day lies ahead.
For some people, sleeping badly is a regular occurrence and has a profound impact on their lives.
Today (16 March) is the fifth annual World Sleep Day, organised by the World Association of Sleep Medicine (WASM).
The initiative highlights the medical, social and educational aspects of sleep disorders. This year’s World Sleep Day slogan is ‘Breathe Easily, Sleep Well’.
UCB supports WASM in its aims to lessen the burden of sleep problems on society through better prevention and management of these disorders.
As a leading biopharmaceutical company, UCB is also investigating the importance of sleep quality for people with severe neurological conditions.
