T-cells

Small white blood cells (leukocytes) that attack the cells of the body when they have been taken over by viruses or have become cancerous. T-cells play a central role in cell-mediated immunity.

Targets

A protein, or cell or organ affected by a specific drug.

Tendons

The fibrous cords that connect muscle to bone.

TNF or Tumour Necrosis Factor alpha

Belongs to the cytokine family of biological molecules. TNF is responsible for increasing tissue damage in inflammatory disorders such as rheumatoid arthritis.
