This week experts in movement and sleep disorders from across the globe will gather together in France for the 1st Summit on Parkinson’s disease (PD), Restless Legs Syndrome (RLS) and Narcolepsy.

The Summit, supported with an educational grant from UCB will provide an opportunity for healthcare professionals to address the day-to-day challenges facing millions of people living with these disabling and sometimes severe diseases.

Disturbed sleep can be frequent for many people living with PD, RLS and narcolepsy and this is why experts from several disciplines will look at the common theme of sleep during the three-day programme on the 1st, 2nd and 3rd of December.

Using lectures and workshops, we’re hoping to create a forum where attendees can discuss everything from the latest brain research and new diagnostic techniques to improved treatment strategies and practical ways of improving patients’ lives.

The summit is part of our ongoing efforts to support patients, their families and the health professionals who treat them.
