UCB: always listening

    That’s why we embarked on UCB Voices - our all-employee engagement survey - to ask UCB people for their views about working in the company.

    This voluntary survey, which was conducted in 20 languages by a specialist external firm, got an excellent response rate - 78% in fact. UCB employees in offices and plants across the globe have shared their opinions about the company and what we can do to continue making it better.

    And that’s exactly the point – to take the feedback we have received and turn it into action plans that will enhance employee engagement.  Our next step is to sift through the wealth of data generated by the survey, assess our strengths and weaknesses, and continue to work on making UCB a great place, where people are proud to work.

    Recent studies show that employee engagement is stronger in companies where staff members feel they are listened to and where their managers are sharing and discussing information. One survey showed that engagement was boosted to 83%  when teams implemented sustainable action plans.

    But it all begins with listening. We believe that listening is essential to our aspiration of becoming the patient-centric biopharma leader. We’re listening to you as well. Our own UCB website is itself constantly being reviewed and improved thanks to feedback received from visitors like you!
