Disclosure of payments to Healthcare Professionals and Organisations Learn more Disclosure of payments to Patient Organisations in Europe Learn more Legal Basis for DisclosureUCB is committed to transparency within the pharmaceutical industry and to strengthening public trust in our collaborations with Healthcare Professionals (HCPs), Healthcare Organizations (HCOs), and Patient Organizations (POs).In line with this commitment, UCB publicly discloses transfers of value (ToVs) and collaborations with HCPs to the appropriate government authorities and/or industry associations, in accordance with the transparency requirements applicable in the country where the HCP primarily practices.Where UCB has an obligation to disclose transfers of value, these disclosures may include, where relevant:Identifying information such as the name and professional contact details of the HCPThe scope of the disclosure, including the categories of individuals covered and the types of transfers of value reportedThe legal basis for processing personal dataThe country in which the disclosure is madeThe currency usedThe relevant reporting periodThe methodology used to calculate the reported amounts.Disclosures of transfers of value and the related processing of personal data are carried out based on one of the following legal grounds, depending on the requirements in the country of the HCP’s principal place of practice:The prior consent of the HCPA legal obligation to make mandatory disclosuresUCB’s legitimate interest in fostering transparent relationships with healthcare professionals.Where permitted by applicable local laws, HCPs may exercise their data protection rights at any time. This may include, where applicable, withdrawing consent or objecting to the further processing of their personal data.
